Poor Peach

Peach got fixed on Friday. I felt bad for her but at the same time in no way did I want to contribute to the cat population. Adam took her in early Friday morning (I had to work) and then we picked her up later that night. I didn't know what she would be like when we brought her home but I wasn't really expecting her to be in a cone! When we first saw her it was so hard not to laugh. I think the person at the vet thought we were being rude but it was pretty funny to see her like that! Once we got her home it was quite the show to watch her continually back-up to try and get away from the cone. We were supposed to keep her confined so we constructed a makeshift cage out of boxes but she always managed to escape.

Peach enjoyed watching Planet Earth last night.

Today she is doing really well. I took her cone off for a bit and kept my eye on her. She was pretty dirty and needed to clean herself but I had to make sure she never went after her tummy.

She is also a big fan of these chairs I picked up at Goodwill on Thursday!

Next thing I need: a new lamp! The leaning Ikea one that we got for free isn't cutting it any more!
